Associates & Supervision

Your Business. Your Money

We believe LMHCAs should be able to make a livable wage based on their own productivity. That's why we don't take a percentage. We have a flat monthly fee that includes the below.

Ethically supporting LMHCAs in private practice

We're passionate about enabling recent graduates and new business owners to thrive professionally and personally in community.

Supervision

Founder Bobbie Winter has been helping people build skills for 30 years. After teaching and a long tech career, she is now helping new therapists build their confidence and skills.

Each LMHCA receives 4 supervision hours per month.

Community

What they don't tell you is private practice can be lonely both professoinally and personally.

Join or form a consult group with us, and informally consult and brainstorm when needed.

Insurance billing

We enable independent LMHCAs to bill through our insurance so you can build your client base and your bank account. And we manage all of the billing work so you can focus on getting your hours.

Business Mentoring

From setting up your practice to marketing, to managing client inquiries and scheduling, we'll help you to pick the software and processes that fit your unique circumstances.  And we'll show you how to be HIPAA-compliant

About Supervision with Bobbie

I love helping build skills!

I began as a university English, Writing, and Rhetoric teacher who ran a community writing center, transitioned to a long tech career where I led many customer-focused community initiatives and built processes to make thing easier and more effeicent. Most of that career was in skill enablement.

After spending 10 years in a nearly-weekly women's processing group and training others in facilitation and process work, counseling Psychology called to my heart, and I see therapy and supervision as an extension of my journey in and love of skill building.

As a supervisor, I encourage associates to explore their own truths about the therapist they want to be, and help support that journey. You're the expert on you. I am a guide with lots of resources.

I am a direct supervisor: transparency and honesty are the foundation of the supervisory relationship, as are compassion and kindness.

I am especially passionate about working with associates who are:

  • Building their own practices.
  • Seeking support in navigating the licensure process while maintaining self-care and a healthy life-work balance.
  • Serving diverse populations and considering the impact our structures and institutions have immediately and intergenerationally.
  • Changing careers (or shifts in educational programs)
  • Brining a feminist lense to their work.
  • Members of communities traditionally excluded or marginalized societally, as well as within the helping professions.
